Nestled in the rolling hills of Free Union, Virginia, Ruxton Farm is a family-owned equestrian facility built on a deep love for horses and the beautiful Virginia countryside.  Specializing in bringing along hunters, equitation horses, show jumpers, as well as fox hunters and horses needing rest and recovery from injuries we are thankful to be blessed with the perfect terrain and environment for developing strong horses both physically and mentally.  

The farm also offers top-quality boarding, attentive care, and selective training and lessons in a setting where both horses and riders feel at home.

At its heart, Ruxton Farm is the result of two family’s shared dedication to horses.  What began as a lifelong passion for Susan and Raleigh Minor has grown into a thriving McMath family endeavor with everyone playing a part in keeping the barn running with care, integrity, and love.
